Veere

Spring 2014

 

The Veere dwelling is a one-story building with the surface-area of 83,3 m2. It has 2 bedrooms, a living-room, an office, kitchen and a bathroom. The entrance is from the north side of the house.  The south side of the house opens up through a glass facade. The outer finishing is tar-oil impregneted wooden sideing. The interior has been finished with cross-laminated wooden panels. The roof is made of rolled metal.

A wooden terrace surrounds the house .

 

The house was built in factory and transported to the plot in two modules. The house is heated with electricity and heat recovery ventilation system.

Maarja

The garden house is a 43,3 m2 gardening classroom in Maarja Village, Põlvamaa. The outer side of its big southward-looking windows is a perfect place for pre-growing plants. The classroom is big enough for a teacher and nine students.

 

The building was built and transported to the location in two modules. The interior has been finished with cross laminated timber panels. Floors are covered with linoleum, because gardening will probably involve some soil and water dropping, so the surface should be easy to clean. The outer finishing is tar oil impregnated vertical wooden planks. The garden house is heated by an air source heating pump and it also has a heat recovery ventilation system.

Vaela

Vaela village house is a two-storey public building with a surface of 249 m2.
 
On the first floor there are the seminar room, the kitchen and two classrooms. The second floor under the roof accommodates offices and two guest rooms. The house is rendered and has a stone roof. The village house has a heat recovery ventilation system and a ground source heat pump.

Luxembourg

Luxembourg’s dwelling is a passive house with a surface of 248 m2, which includes a basement and three bedrooms.
The basement houses a sauna and hobby rooms. The first floor consists of a spacious living room and a kitchen and the second floor is meant for the three bedrooms. Heating is organised with a heat recovery ventilation system. There is also a fireplace. The roof is covered with electricity producing solar panels.   Additionally,   there   are  
4 m2 of sun collectors to heat water. The outer finishing is white plaster.

Paju

The dwelling on Paju road is an A-energy-class one-storey building with a surface of 85 m2. Around the 25 m2 living room there are the semi-open kitchen, the two bedrooms, the office, the entrance, and the separately placed toilet and bathroom. Additionally, there is a small shed and a carport on the north side of the building. The house has a fireplace. The outer finishing is a combination of cement-bonded particleboard and cross laminated timber panels. The roof is made of corrugated sheets. The house has heat recovery ventilation system.

Fuhlendorf

Fuhlendorf’s house actually consists of two flats with separate entrances – one on the first and the other on the second floor. The surface area is 244 m2. The space inside the flats is divided exactly the same. Both floors have a spacious kitchen-living room on the south side. The hygiene rooms and the two bedrooms are in the north. For outer finishing tar oil impregnated vertical wooden planks have been used. The roof is made of rolled metal. The house has been put together from elements and it has heat recovery ventilation system plus a small fireplace oven.

Rannavälja

Rannavälja is a two-storey building with three bedrooms and a spacious kitchen-living room. The house’s whole surface area is 127 m2. Besides the living room and the kitchen, the first floor includes also a hall, toilet and a technical room.
The second floor accommodates the bedrooms, the bathroom and the wardrobe. The outer finishing has been done with light grey plaster. The roof is made of rolled metal. The house has heat recovery ventilation system for a better energy performance.

Kuldkinga

Kuldkinga is a one-storey building with three bedrooms and a spacious living room. It’s surface area is 105 m2. The kitchen is located in the north and opens to the living room.
 
The outer finishing is oiled vertical wooden planks. The roof is made of rolled metal. The house is surrounded by a terrace and has a fireplace inside. It is equipped with a heat recovery ventilation system for a better energy performance.

Rukkilille

Rukkilille is a two-storey building of 145 m2. Apart from that, the complex includes also a separate one-storey building with a sauna, a shed, a storm porch and a carport located next to the main building. The first floor the latter is occupied by the living room, the kitchen, plus the hall, the toilet and the bathroom (separate rooms) and a small office. The second floor accommodates the bedrooms, hygiene rooms and a wardrobe. For the outer finishing, oiled vertical wooden planks and wooden shingel processed with tar oil. The house has heat recovery ventilation for a better energy performance.

Kiideva

Kiideva houses are located in the Matsalu conservation area on old farm land. Therefore it was important to respect the stylistics of traditional farm house architecture and conserve the size of the existing house beds. The dwelling house is a semi-two-storey building with a surface area of 69 m2. The first floor houses a small kitchen-living room and the hygiene rooms. The second floor with the two small bedrooms is reachable by a brusk staircase. The surface of the sauna is 24 m2. Vertical oiled boards have been used for the outer finishing of both buildings and they both also have thatched roofs.

Võru

Võru house is a two-bedroom house with a big kitchen-living room and a surface area of 105 m2. Besides the bedrooms and the kitchen-living room opening to the south, the house also includes a sauna block and a small office.
 
The outside finishing is done with vertical oiled boards. The house has a heat recover ventilation system for a better energy performance.
